Disclose all children. The selected or right-clicked preset and all its children and their children are disclosed (ie become visible).
Un-disclose all children. The selected or right-clicked preset and all its children and their children are no longer disclosed; only this preset is visible.
Locked. Shows whether the selected preset is locked; selecting this item toggles its lock status. If a preset is locked, all its children are locked; upon unlocking it, the lock status of the individual children becomes controlling again.
Rename. Rename the preset; this can also be done by clicking and holding on the
preset’s name.
Edit description. Opens a dialog so you can create, view or edit a description of the
preset. This description is significant only to users; it isn’t used by SynthEyes.
Go back a preset. Go back in the preset navigation history. Equivalent to the left navigation arrow.
Go forward a preset. Go forward in the preset navigation history. Equivalent to the right navigation arrow.
Go up. Go up to the parent preset, record that in the preset navigation history.
Equivalent to the up navigation arrow (accessible via the control-up keys).
Copy. Copy the selected preset(s) onto the clipboard. They are accessible on the clipboard as JSON text.
Cut. Copy the selected preset(s) onto the clipboard, then delete them. They are accessible on the clipboard as JSON text.
Paste. Paste the preset(s) on the clipboard as children of the selected target. This does afford a way to change presets and preset values directly, but significant study should be applied before attempting this, as it may result in a crash, an unusable set of presets, or hidden later consequences.
Paste self-contained. Paste the preset(s) on the clipboard as children of the selected target. Any links in the presets on the clipboard are ignored; “clean copies” are inserted. Delete. Delete the selected presets. Note that locked or essential presets may not be
deleted; you’ll hear a beep if you attempt to do so.
New folder preset. Create a new untyped preset suitable for storing other presets into.
Save selected. Save the selected presets to a JSON file.
Save selected complete. Save the selected presets to a JSON file, replacing any links with the link targets in the file. [Using links not recommended at present.]
Delete selected values. Delete the selected values from the selected preset. Care must be taken with this operation to not delete essential values.
Delete unselected values. Delete the unselected values from the selected preset; the selected values will be the only ones that remain. Care must be taken with this operation to not delete essential values.
Select Built-in actions. Select /Built-in on the action menu selector. Select Facility actions. Select /Facility on the action menu selector. Select User actions. Select /User on the action menu selector.
