‌Flexible Lens Workflow Export ‌

Once you’ve tracked and solved your shot, the next step is to export your data to other applications. When lens distortion is involved, exporting can become complex, especially when your compositing and rendering tools handle distortion differently.

Starting in SynthEyes 2025.5, the Flexible Lens Workflow Export system makes this process more predictable and repeatable. Export dialogs in supported exporters now include a Lens Workflow dropdown, allowing you to apply undistortion, redistortion, or rollback operations as part of the export itself. Many steps that previously required manual preparation can now be handled automatically and non-destructively during export.

Supported exporters include: Blender, Nuke, Resolve Fusion, Cinema 4D, Maya, Houdini, Unreal Engine, 3ds Max, After Effects, FBX, Alembic, USD, and the Save Sequence exporter.
