Boris FX is searching for a Pro Audio Content Creator & Product Evangelist to join our marketing and product teams. This role is ideal for an experienced audio engineer, mastering engineer, or music producer who excels at producing educational content, assisting with product documentation, and providing valuable insights that influence the development of our newly acquired professional audio line.
Youโll be an advocate for the Boris FX pro audio familyโespecially our flagship DAWs Sequoia and Samplitude, as well as Music Studio and our CrumplePop audio restoration tools. You will do this by creating in-depth tutorials, solving common mixing and mastering challenges, and engaging with the audio production community through webinars, online, and in-person industry events.
What Youโll Do:
- Create High-Quality Training Content: Develop educational video tutorials, audio-mixing demonstrations, and documentation that showcase how our DAWs solve real-world recording, mixing, and mastering challenges.
- Audio Problem-Solving: Use your technical expertise to test software, troubleshoot challenging mixes, master bus chains, or restoration tasks, and provide feedback that improves product performance for audio professionals.
- Collaborate on Product Development: Work closely with the Sequoia and Samplitude product management teams to refine features (like object-based editing), enhance workflows, and ensure our tools meet the needs of professional engineers, producers, and artists.
- Live Presentations & Webinars: Represent Boris FX at industry events (like NAMM), trade shows, and online webinars by demonstrating practical, high-impact mixing, mastering, and production techniques.
- Community Engagement: Participate in industry forums, answer user questions, and foster relationships with professional engineers, producers, and recording studios.
What Weโre Looking For:
- Professional Audio Experience: 5+ years in professional audio engineering, music production, post-production audio, or mastering.
- DAW & Software Expertise: Deep, expert-level knowledge of Sequoia and/or Samplitude Pro X. Experience with other DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Cubase) is a major plus.
- Strong Communication & Teaching Skills: Ability to break down complex audio concepts (e.g., advanced signal flow, object-based editing, mastering chains) into engaging and easy-to-follow educational content.
- Technical Aptitude: Deep familiarity with advanced mixing techniques, mastering workflows, audio restoration, and studio recording is essential.
- Content Creation Skills: Proficiency in creating high-quality video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, OBS, or equivalent is necessary to create the tutorials.
- Project Management: Ability to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience teaching audio engineering, music theory, or production workflows.
- Experience writing product documentation or training materials.
- Ability to speak and present in multiple languages (especially German, given the software’s heritage).
- Access to content for use in tutorials and examples
- Studio space for filming tutorial backgrounds

Boris FX is searching for a Content Creator & Product Evangelist to join our marketing and product teams. This role is ideal for an experienced video editor or post-production professional who excels at producing educational content and providing valuable insights that influence software development.
Youโll be an advocate for Boris FX products by creating in-depth tutorials, solving common editorial challenges, and engaging with the video editing community through webinars, online and in-person industry events.

- Create High-Quality Training Content: Develop educational video tutorials, workflow demonstrations, and documentation that showcase how Boris FX tools solve real-world editorial, finishing, and graphics challenges.
- Post-Production Problem-Solving: Use your technical expertise to test software, troubleshoot challenging edits and finishing tasks, and provide feedback that improves product performance for editors.
- Collaborate on Product Development: Work closely with product management to refine features, enhance workflows, and ensure our tools meet the needs of professional editors and content creators.
- Live Presentations & Webinars: Represent Boris FX at industry events, trade shows, and online webinars by demonstrating practical, high-impact editing, finishing, and effects techniques.

What Weโre Looking For:
- Professional Video Editing Experience: 5+ years in video editing, post-production, or motion graphics for broadcast, streaming, corporate, or social media.
- NLE & Software Expertise: Deep knowledge of professional post-production software. Experience with Avid Media Composer, Premiere Pro and VEGAS Pro is a major plus.
- Expertise with Boris FX Products: Hands-on experience with Sapphire, Continuum, and Mocha Pro is highly preferred.
- Strong Communication & Teaching Skills: Ability to break down complex post-production and effects workflows into engaging and easy-to-follow educational content.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with finishing tasks like tracking, masking, compositing, color correction, titling, and general VFX work is essential.
- Content Creation Skills: Proficiency in creating high-quality video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, OBS, or equivalent is necessary to create the tutorials.
- Project Management: Ability to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Bonus Skills:

Youโd work closely with the rest of our small, geographically dispersed development group on Academy Award-winning visual effects software and make a significant impact on our company.
This is a full-time position that is permanently remote / work from home. Salary commensurate with skills and experience.
Roles and Responsibilities
Write sophisticated image processing and computer vision software in C++ and OpenCL.
We all wear many hats, so thereโs some customer interaction, bug fixes, conferences, product design and QA as well as serious high-performance, artist-focussed software development.
Required Experience
- Solid experience, comfort and fluency with C++
- Experience creating, debugging and shipping high-performance products
- Image processing and/or computer vision skills
- Degree in Computing or a related subject, or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with two or more of Windows, Mac and Linux
- Experience with distributed version control (especially Git)
- Experience with agile development, bug tracking (such as Jira)
Pluses
- Familiarity with video editing/effects software development
- Experience with parallel or GPU programming
- Comfort and fluency with Python
- Strong debugging skills and a desire to solve challenging problems
- Experience working in a distributed team, for example open-source projects
